Over 1,000 wines from 28 countries were entered into the prestigious competition held in Germany so we are thrilled with the results. Whilst always a team effort at Albury, we are particularly grateful to our vineyard managers Alex and Dominic, and to our winemaker Matthieu and the team at Litmus.
Initiated and organised by WINE System AG, 38 judges tasted each of the submitted organic wines and ran a sensory assessment based on its ingredients following the PAR®-standards working in a team of three people. Only four sparkling wines were awarded the top gold medal, including our Blanc de Blancs alongside entries from Germany, Italy and France. You can read the full round-up from the competition here.
