Join us for the return of 'Walkies & Wine', a dog-friendly open day at Albury Vineyard

Bring your pup for a scenic Autumn walk through the vines and explore our self-guided vineyard tour, enjoy a glass of award-winning Albury wine, and treat your dog to something special from our exclusive 'dog menu'. The perfect day out for wine lovers and dog owners alike.

Local artist Charlotte will also be offering pet portraits - a unique illustrated keepsake of your dog (additional charge).

Entry for you and your dogs is free! But we kindly ask that you register online so we know how many visitors to expect on the day. 

Table Reservations

Tables are available inside and outside on a first come, first served basis. If you're visiting as a group of 6 or more people, we can reserve a table for you for 1.5 hours – please email info@alburyvineyard.com.

Please note that picnics are not permitted in the vineyard and only food and drink purchased from us can be consumed on-site (see sample menu here). If you'd like to make a picnic part of your day out, we recommend popping up to nearby Newlands Corner.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the timings of this event?
The vineyard is open between 11am and 4pm, with last orders for drinks and food at 3.30pm.

Do I need to book?
Entry is free, but we kindly ask everyone to register online in advance so we have an idea of how many people (and pups) to expect.

Do dogs need to be kept on a lead?
Yes. Dogs must be kept on a lead while exploring the vineyard and we ask owners to keep them under control at all times.

What should I wear?
We recommend sensible shoes or boots. Our self-guided vineyard tour takes you across uneven ground and, being Autumn, it may be muddy if we've had rain. It's also worth dressing for the weather and bringing an umbrella!

Will there be water for dogs?
Yes, we'll have water bowls available for thirsty pups, although you're very welcome to bring your own water too.

Is there somewhere to sit?
Yes, tables are available inside and outside.

Can I reserve a table?
Tables are generally available on a first come, first served basis. For groups of 6 or more people, we can reserve a table for 1.5 hours – please email info@alburyvineyard.com.

Can we bring a picnic?
No, picnics aren't permitted at the vineyard and only food and drink purchased from us can be consumed on-site. Newlands Corner is nearby if you'd like to enjoy a picnic as part of your day.

What happens if it rains?
Walkies & Wine is an Autumn event, so we'd recommend coming prepared for the British weather! The vineyard can become muddy after rain, so sensible footwear is a must.
