The eighth annual celebration of our wonderful county, Surrey Day 2026 brings communities together to celebrate everything that makes Surrey so special.

Each year, Surrey Day features a special theme to inspire celebrations across the county and this year, we will be 'Going Underground' and uncovering Surrey’s 'Hidden Treasures'.

Visit Albury on Surrey Day, Saturday 9th May, for two special events - 'Hidden Treasures of the Silent Pool' and 'Beneath the Vines'.

Hidden Treasures of the Silent Pool

Discover the hidden treasures of the Silent Pool with Albury Vineyard, Silent Pool Distillers and Mandira’s Kitchen, as we celebrate 'Surrey Day' with a free self-guided trail around our beautiful corner of the Surrey Hills.

Pick up a trail sheet from any of the three locations and explore the area to uncover clues along the way. To find the answers, you’ll need to visit each of the participating businesses and the Silent Pool itself, discovering stories and interesting facts hidden around the site.

Visitors who complete the trail and find the answers will be entered into a prize draw.

Beneath the Vines

Join us as we 'go underground' to celebrate Surrey Day 2026 and explore what lies beneath the vines. 

Discover how the ancient chalk beneath our vines shapes the character of our sparkling wines. Through a guided tour and tasting experience, discover how 'terroir' comes to life in the glass at Albury Vineyard.
