FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All ages are welcome at this event, but you will need to be over 18 to taste and buy the wines. Only adults can attend the Surrey Hills wine tasting.

What time should I arrive?

The vineyard is open from 12pm - 6pm and you can visit any time during these hours. We recommend you allow 2-3 hours to enjoy the experience.

Can I turn up on the day without a ticket?

This event usually sells out and we can't guarantee that tickets will be available on the day.

Can I get a refund for my ticket if I can't come anymore or change my mind?

Sorry, no refunds but please pass your tickets on to a friend if you can no longer attend.

Do children need a ticket?

No, only adults.

Do you allow dogs?

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

What happens if it rains?

This event will go ahead even if it rains! We are in England after all ;) But it is an outdoor event, so wear waterproof clothing wrap up warm, bring an umbrella and your wellies if required.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available at the vineyard, in the Silent Pool public car park, and in the field behind the vineyard shop and tasting room. You do not need to pay for parking, but must enter your car registration number into the terminal provided in the vineyard shop.

We recommend coming by public transport if you can. The nearest mainline station is Guildford, it has a taxi rank and the vineyard is only a 10 minute drive away. Clandon is the nearest station but it's small, and you will need to pre-order a taxi or uber (5 mins drive from the vineyard).

Will there be food available?

English cheese and charcuterie boards will be available from the bar menu, and we’re delighted that The Pizza Oven and Moooh Ice Cream will also be joining us.

Can I bring a picnic?

Sorry, picnics are not permitted but we don't mind if you bring food for children.

What should I bring?

This is an outdoor event, which will go ahead whatever the weather! Please dress accordingly, and wear waterproof clothing and sensible footwear if necessary.

Limited seating is available so we encourage you to bring a picnic rug or some fold up chairs.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes please, either printed or on your phone as this will help speed up the entry process.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, you can give your ticket to someone else, just make sure they attend with the ticket.
