Albury Estate Biodynamic Wild Ferment 2018

Only 500 bottles were made of this very special, limited release sparkling wine from the 2018 vintage. Our biodynamic sparkling is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes fermented using wild yeasts found naturally occurring on the vineyard. This gives the wine a unique sense of place, or terroir. 

With 54 months on lees, this beautiful light golden sparkling wine has a nose displaying notes of stone fruit, apricot and pear. The mouthfeel is complex and full, with notes of almond, peach and citrus.

Albury is one of only a handful of vineyards in the UK certified biodynamic which excludes the use of artificial chemicals, and improves soil fertility and plant health by using compost teas and biodynamic preparations.
