Summer on an English vineyard with a glass of bubbly and afternoon tea, what could be better?
To celebrate English wine week this year, we are delighted to be welcoming the Dabbling Duck, voted Café of the Year 2016 in the Surrey Life Food & Drink Awards to the vineyard for afternoon tea! The sun will be shining, of course, and tea will be served both in the vineyard barn, and on the patio overlooking beautiful views of the vineyard and the Surrey Hills.
The menu includes:
Finger Sandwiches - smoked salmon crème fraiche & purple shiso, crab & paprika mayo, Sussex charmer with beetroot & horseradish chutney, classic cucumber & cream cheese
Savoury Tart - hot smoked trout & Albury Estate Blanc de Blancs
Cakes - lemon meringue tarts, chocolate orange daquoise, Albury honey financiers, Albury Estate Classic Cuvée & strawberry jellies, macaroons
Plain & fruit scones with clotted cream & homemade raspberry jam
