Our Wines

Albury Estate Sparkling

Our sparkling wine is produced using the same method as Champagne. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle over a minimum of two years to give the wine its fizz and character.

We currently produce three organic sparkling wines: Albury Estate Classic Cuvée, Albury Estate Blanc de Blancs and Albury Estate Sparkling Rosé, and a limited release Biodynamic Wild Ferment. They have all won gold awards in international competitions and now feature on the wine lists of some of the country's best restaurants.

“Albury Estate Classic Cuvée has all the hallmarks of a fine sparkling wine."

Silent Pool Rosé

We produced our first rosé in 2011, a still wine made exclusively from hand picked Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Our first vintage was served on board the Royal barge to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, and this wine now sells out every year within a few months of release. We intend to buck the trend of increasingly higher alcohol levels and Silent Pool Rosé is around 10.5%. It is an elegant, crisp wine with subtle and fresh summer fruit flavours, and is certified organic.

"English pink. Crisp early season strawberries and cherries. So delicious."
Victoria Moore, Daily Telegraph

Silent Pool Rosé 2017 has now sold out, and the new vintage is due to be released in May 2019.

The Duke's Reserve Brandy

The Duke's Reserve is a limited release brandy (42%) made for us by our neighbours at the Silent Pool Distillery.

It is made from wine made from pressings of our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes and named after the Duke of Northumberland who owns the estate in Albury where the vineyard is situated.

Each small batch is released after the harvest in November, and each bottle is individually numbered making it a lovely and unique gift.
